THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

Dear Resident

You are receiving this as you live in the vicinity of a theft from motor vehicle that occurred on Ascot Drive on Thursday 14th May between 03:00hrs and 03:15hrs

A report was received regarding a male trying door handles on vehicles parked along the street. After finding a vehicle that had been left insecure, he entered and removed items from inside.

Residents are reminded to ensure their vehicles are locked at all times and that no valuables are left on display.

 If you have any information in relation to the above, please contact the Police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO. Please also check your CCTV or Doorbell camera if you have one during the crime timings to see if there are any activations. 

This is also a good time to check your own security; many offences are preventable with small improvements to your vehicle security.
